For those sleeping on Yanis, the guy is as tough as he comes and his loss in Paris shouldn't be counted as one.

"He's as tough as they come" is the worst compliment you can give a fighter.

Significant step down IMO. This is just a record padding fight for Talbott to build his brand.

As a Saimann fan that fight was tuff to watch.  I don't see Talbott having any issues in his fight, yanis gonna put up a fight for sure but I just can't picture Talbott losing right now. 

At least not until he gets into fights against high rankings in his division.

Yanis has been matched up against Caolan, gomis, lok dog, and now Talbott thus far; it’s clear the ufc wants him to be cannon fodder

I believe so, he seems hungry for this. People see all the stuff online and assume he’s not training hard, but in reality he is. If he has 50% of the hunger he had at featherweight, I think he might have him easy. If not, he’ll have a hard fight if he doesn’t finish it in the first one or two rounds, I believe in that because Chandler has better cardio.

ESPN just put out an article talking about O'Malley fighting Conor in the future but they offhandedly mentioned that Conor's fight against Chandler is at 165.  Is that the first we're hearing about this, or did I just miss that somewhere?  Not that I think it'll make a huge difference, but I do find 165 to be interesting for both guys

Oh I agree I don’t think there should be a 165 division, I just thought it was odd that the service that will be streaming the fight directly said it would be at 165 when I hadn’t seen that anywhere else.  Here’s the article I’m talking about, for posterity’s sake
