I’m very impressed with Makhachev being ranked 2 even though I think his highest ranked opponent was Dan Hooker at 6.

I know to fight ranked fighters you need to be given the opportunity, but Makhachev himself has been ranked for a long time. Also it might be hard for Makhachev to get people to fight him.

However respect needs to be shown for Oliveira, Poirier, and Gaethje's UFC runs, which is why I think they should still be ranked higher.
